Topsider Resort - Lower Matecumbe Beach

The staff was very amiable, they made the stay absolutely amazing. Booked an apartment with kitchenettes.

Topsider offered a lovely escape with a charming atmosphere and great fishing off the dock. The updated units provided comfort, but some areas felt overlooked, like the beach and outdated A/C. It's a fantastic spot for families seeking relaxation and adventure in Islamorada.

The apartment was spacious, really nice for our family. We loved the simple beach feel of the decor, it added to the vibe. The kitchen was modern and super easy to use for cooking our meals. I think the furniture could use an update, felt a bit dated. The bathroom could have been cleaner. Noticed a few spots that were overlooked. Pretty decent stay.

The local seafood joints served traditional fish dishes that were off the charts! Plus, those unique octagon stilt houses reminded me of a cozy dream just steps from the beach.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The location was amazing, with the hotel situated right on a small private beach overlooking a beautiful bay. Snorkeling in the bay was an very nice experience. The hotel facilities were great, and we particularly enjoyed the free kayaks that were available to use. The accommodation itself was unique and spacious, with a modern kitchen and a charming beach-inspired decor. We also appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel and the well-maintained gardens. The staff members were friendly, helpful, and made our stay even better.
